Reading Endorsement
Program Description
UThink is an online learning system offered in partnership with Heidelberg University for affordable graduate coursework leading to a Reading Endorsement.
Obtain your Reading Endorsement from Heidelberg University by completing four classes and passing the OAE Reading subtest I (038) and Reading subtest II (039). Both passing rates are 220. Classes are offered in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
The UThink framework and resources is compiled of research based strategies that are effective and engaging to the student and teacher. The Reading Endorsement Program offers solutions to the problems that teachers often have when teaching word study and comprehension. While teaching this framework to a former student, I not only saw his growth as a reader, but I saw a love for reading sprout back into his life. He started to see the world of reading differently, in a way that never existed in his life, and as a teacher, I felt accomplished knowing that he loved reading again.
